  3. The following summarizes the fixes and feature enhancements made to FileMaker Pro 2.1v2 program:

  5. • Includes MacIPX™, version 1.1, with added flexibility on serverless networks
  6. • Corrects certain Apple Events problems including:
  7. - Several constants used in FileMaker Pro were changed to match those defined in the Apple Events Registry (Winter 1992 Errata).
  8. - The user terminology for the “Clone” event was changed to “Duplicate”.
  9. - New ability to send a password with an 'odoc' event
  10. - Ability to determine field types using pDefaultType
  11. - Corrected the processing of keydowns when FileMaker Pro was in the background
  12. - Now returns the actual name of the application even if the application has been renamed in the Finder
  13. - Fixed inconsistencies in the aete table
  14. - Corrected a problem when sending events to a FrontMost application
  15. - Extended the aete resource to include plurals for all classes of FileMaker objects
  16.  
  17. • The following Import feature was added:
  18. - A new Match Fields button was added to the Import Mapping dialog box for same version FileMaker Pro to FileMaker Pro import operations. The button aligns fields in the source and target files when their names match and enables import for fields of compatible types.
